Training Consults

Have you brought a new puppy into your life and want to make sure you get started on the right paw? Does your dog have selective hearing when they are off leash? Perhaps your pup has no manners in the house and chaos reigns the moment you get home or as soon as you leave.

No matter the challenge, we're here to help. Our training consults are designed to build strong foundations and lasting skills, developing clear communication between you and your dog and helping you to learn to live in harmony.

Behavioural Training

No one brings a dog into their life expecting to struggle. No one wants to be nervous of taking them for a walk due to fear and anxiety of other dogs or people. No one wants to lock their dog away when they have visitors over because their dog is unpredictable or aggressive.

Our Behavioural Consults can help. We come to you for a one-on-one session which is as much about teaching you as it is your dog. It allows us to see your dog in their home environment and tackle their behavioural issues where they begin.

For dogs displaying more complex or acute behaviours, our Board and Train program might be a better fit. It begins with an assessment in your home to understand your dog's unique needs and draw up an individual training plan, including a recommended length of stay with us. To ensure your dog gets the attention they deserve, we host a maximum of two training dogs for boarding at a time. Your dog will live in a home environment, rather than a kennel, which also allows for work on household behaviours.

You will also be actively involved in your dog’s training by visiting us once a week to learn handling skills and see your dog’s progress. In addition, five follow-up sessions are included in the board and train package to solidify your handling skills and assist in your dog’s transition home.

Intensive Training

We aim to make the training process supportive, non-judgemental and comfortable for both you and your pup. Through our training
you will discover a dog you feel confident handling, you can communicate effectively with, and most importantly, a dog
you can enjoy spending time with.
